The research project called CANOPAES Hemp: environmental and economic opportunities in Sardinia, aims to study the potential for enhancing areas subjected to severe persistent chemical pollution through hemp cultivation. A further objective is the possible valorization of innovative, economically and ecologically sustainable productions obtained through hemp cultivation. Eurovix participated in pilot-scale anaerobic digestion trials aimed at the production of biogas from hemp matrix through the use of microbial-enzymatic bioactivators to improve its production yield.
