The research project concerns the cultivation of durum wheat through the application of organic farming protocols, with the aim of identifying sustainable solutions to improve crop management and production yields.
The study activities are developed over three agricultural years and are based on a multifactorial experiment structured on two main factors of variation:
-
Crop variety, analyzing the performance of different types of durum wheat;
-
Fertilization protocol, evaluating the effectiveness of different low-impact nutritional strategies.
Throughout the experimental period, agronomic parameters of the crop were monitored and production yields were analyzed in order to collect data useful for the adoption of more sustainable agricultural practices and for improving the quality of cereal production.
