{"id":11558,"date":"2024-08-26T07:45:14","date_gmt":"2024-08-26T07:45:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eurovix.it\/2024\/08\/26\/air-break\/"},"modified":"2026-02-09T09:06:21","modified_gmt":"2026-02-09T09:06:21","slug":"air-break","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eurovix.it\/en\/2024\/08\/26\/air-break\/","title":{"rendered":"Air-Break"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"183\" data-end=\"421\">The AIR-BREAK project, funded by the European Urban Innovative Actions program, aims to reduce air pollution in the city of Ferrara by 25 percent, with a focus on fine particulate matter (PM).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"423\" data-end=\"469\">Actions under the project include:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"471\" data-end=\"797\">\n<li data-start=\"471\" data-end=\"576\">\n<p data-start=\"473\" data-end=\"576\">Raising public awareness and information on air pollution issues;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"577\" data-end=\"695\">\n<p data-start=\"579\" data-end=\"695\">Experimentation with innovative models to encourage sustainable commuting and soft mobility;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"696\" data-end=\"797\">\n<p data-start=\"698\" data-end=\"797\">Adoption of Nature-Based and Smart Solutions to decrease pollutants in the air.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The nature-based solution is related to the use of a specific Eurovix bioactivator with chelating action, capable of promoting the biofixation of PM particles, preventing their subsequent re-suspension in the atmosphere.
